Talk to us! We manage requests to use Bunurong language for:
- Official place naming (e.g. new schools, parks, buildings, etc.)
- Internal space naming (e.g. naming meeting rooms, school houses, etc.)
- Teaching or sharing Bunurong language in the classroom.
All requests to use Bunurong language are managed by the Bunurong Land Council Aboriginal Corporation (BLCAC), the Registered Aboriginal Party for Bunurong peoples.
Language requests abide by strict cultural safety protocols, with all names selected by Bunurong Elders and Knowledge Holders based on the purpose of the request and its relationship with Country.
